Vicki has been in education for over 20 years and has served as an educational leader for the past 13 years in both Illinois and Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Nevada and her first Masters in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University. She earned her second Masters in Ed. Leadership with a focus on the Superintendency from Western Illinois in 2018, and completed her Doctorate in Ed. Leadership from Western Illinois in 2019. Vicki brings a unique perspective to the table in that she has taught and led students and staff at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in communities that represent every major part of the socio-economic spectrum. She also has experience consulting district leaders and boards of education throughout the midwest on their strategic plan efforts, which quickly became a mutually beneficial learning experience.
When Vicki is not working to support all that public education has to offer students, communities, and families, she enjoys spending time with her husband. She loves to unwind by reading a good book or she can be found at a local forest preserve enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer. She and her husband maintain active lifestyles. Their son graduated with his Masters in Computer Science in 2021, and lives in Florida with his wife. They all enjoy vacationing together in locations where scuba diving is an option.
