To practice, students got creative by using soda pop names to build custom rhythms. With hand drums in hand, they teamed up with partners to bring their soda-inspired beats to life! 🥤🥁✨

Senorita Antaramian's eighth grade Spanish students completed the work on their Ofrendas last week, just in time for Dia De Los Muertos! 🌺💀🌹
An ofrenda is an altar, built to honor lost loved ones. Traditional ofrendas are full of symbols and meaning, which have a long history with the holiday and people. Take a look at the amazing Ofrendas and give our eighth graders a ❤ for all of their hard work and creativity! 🌺💀🌹

One of our favorite Salem traditions is fourth grade Pumpkin Math!🎃 Students explored measurement and the buoyancy of their pumpkin and created a symmetrical Jack o Lantern! They wrote a story about their pumpkin and worked in a group to see who could build the highest gummy tower. We ♥️ math!
