Just a reminder to our Falcon Families that in order to attend any athletic event after school one of the following will need to happen before 2:45pm on the day of the event:
- an email to Brady Willkomm (braden.willkomm@salem.k12.wi.us)
- a written note brought to either the main office or Brady Willkomm
**Students will NOT be allowed to call home to ask parents/guardians to email or bring in a note**

Milkweed Bugs and Red Worms have arrived in 7th grade! Mrs. Potter's students created habitats for the bugs and then observed them on Friday! The bugs are mating and laying eggs, stay tuned next week as they start to hatch!🐞

Picture makeup and retake day is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25th! If your child is going to have a picture retake please make sure to send along the original picture package with your child on Tuesday. Any students who missed the first picture day will have their pictures taken on retake day.

Do you know what happens to a pumpkin after Halloween?!🎃
4K students in Mrs. Briggs class were introduced to the story of Pumpkin Jack, written by Will Hubbell. Pumpkin Jack tells the story of a boy who discovers the life cycle of a pumpkin after he carves his first one for Halloween! When Halloween was over and the pumpkin was beginning to rot, the boy set it out in the garden and throughout the weeks he watched it change. Our 4K students created their very own Pumpkin Jack, planted his seeds, and will now watch over him as he "sits" in their classroom until spring! 🎃
