This fee must be completed in order for them to continue participation within games and practices the rest of the season. Please also ensure participants have a current standing physical, emergency contact card (RED CARD), and a concussion form turned in to Mr. Willkomm. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to having these forms turned in. If you have participated in a previous sport (THIS YEAR) and have turned these in, you will not need any more paper work. Red cards, physical forms, and concussion forms can be picked up in the school office or downloaded and printed from the Salem School District athletics webpage under "Forms". My name is Jim Weiland and I am very honored and excited to join your school! I am pictured here with our newest addition to the family, Charlie! He is a one year old Goldendoodle. I also live with my wife Kathy, who will be beginning her 30th year at Shoreland Lutheran High School. We have two children, Amy, and Adam. We also have three grandchildren, Audrey 9, Gavin 7, and Autumn 4, soon to be 5 on the first day of, you may have guessed it, Autumn. We also have Annie our retired therapy dog, a shepherd collie mix who will be 12 on Valentine's Day. I am a former classroom teacher having taught grades 3-6 in Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin. I have also been a college, high school and middle school sports coach. I look forward to working with the students and staff at Salem School and helping everyone any way I can! I can't wait to meet everyone. Let's have a fantastic Falcon 2024-25 school year!"

🌟 Please help us welcome Kirsten Bank to the Falcon Family! "My name is Kirsten Bank, and I am so excited to be part of the Salem Community as a 7th/8th Grade English Teacher. I am heading into my 5th year of teaching, but I am coming from teaching freshman/sophomores at Wilmot. I am a proud Whitewater-Warhawk Alumni who received my bachelor's and master's degrees. I grew up not too far from Salem in Fox Lake, Illinois, but I love Wisconsin so much more (: I am passionate about literature, the outdoors, being active, and coaching volleyball. I just got married in December of 2023! This past summer, we went to Alaska to enjoy the beautiful landscape but missed our two adorable cats, Karma and Psi. I am a huge Taylor Swift fan, and I am excited to bring that energy to Salem!"

🌟 Please help us welcome Ben Warmuth to the Falcon Family! "My name is Ben Warmuth, and I am incredibly excited to be the new band director here at Salem! I taught band, general music, and choir at Brighton and Paris schools for the last 17 years. I also play trumpet and French horn one weekend a month and two weeks in summer with the 132D Army Band, part of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. When I'm not teaching or playing music you might find me biking around the area, swimming at the beach, having a cone at Culver's with my 3 children, or in line for a roller coaster at Great America. One of my hobbies is building xylophones that we use in the classroom sometimes. I'm most excited about finding opportunities for the Salem band to be active performing in the school and the community. "
