The Student Senate Lollipop Sale is back!🍭 During the week of Valentine's Day, 4th - 8th grade students will be able to purchase Lollipops for $1.00 during their lunch hours! 4K-3rd grade will be taking orders in their classrooms, and will have lollipops delivered to their rooms each day during the sale. Stay tuned for more information next week!🍭

We are SO proud of our Falcons! ❤️ On Friday our middle school students were presented with Positive Referral Certificates that they have earned so far this year. They were nominated by Salem Staff for these referrals by showing that they are respectful, responsible, kind and safe at school. Each student got to pick a prize from the celebration cart, including our new Marcus Movie Theatre ticket option!🎉 Give them a ❤️ to celebrate them, and stay tuned for our elementary positive referral recipients!

We are now accepting sign ups for both Boys and Girls Volleyball! Due to previous observation on the amount of participants we are expecting, we will only be allowing 6th, 7th & 8th grades to sign up for boys volleyball and 7th & 8th grades for girls.
Please also ensure participants have a current standing physical, emergency contact card (RED CARD), and a concussion form turned in to Mr. Willkomm. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to having these forms turned in. If you have participated in a previous sport (THIS YEAR) and have turned these in, you will not need any more paperwork.
Red cards, physical forms, and concussion forms can be picked up in the school office or downloaded and printed from the Salem School District athletics webpage under "Forms".

Our 8th grade class would like to send a HUGE thank you to our Salem PTO as well as everyone who contributed to making their Bake Sale Fundraiser last night a BIG success! To those who baked, donated, purchased a treat, or bought concessions, THANK YOU! The Bake Sale raised $600 and our incredible Salem PTO is donating $1,043.70 that they raised from concession stand sales! We are so thankful for our community!

Seventh and eighth grade students in Mr. Johnson's VEX Robotics club are well versed in Lego robotics building, planning and programming. This month they have been using VEX Robotics to plan, design and build more advanced types of robots. They programmed the robots to run and be driven on their own. Check out their work below!
Salem School is excited to announce that 4K/5K Enrollment begins TODAY!
Salem offers both a full day and half day 4K program for students 4-years-old on or before September 1, 2023. Students, age 5, on or before September 1, 2023, can enroll for our full-day Kindergarten program. Students currently enrolled in Salem's 4K program for the 2022-2023 school year do not have to enroll for Kindergarten.
Enrollment will begin January 23, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, Monday through Friday, in the school's office located off of AH. The student's original birth certificate and proof of residency are required in order to enroll. Acceptable forms of proof of residency include a deed, current rental agreement signed by both parties, current tax statement, or a utility bill (gas, electric, water or sewer) within the last 30 days.
Please keep in mind that your choice for full day vs. half day 4K is on a first come, first served basis. Your choice can be made as soon as you fill out the required enrollment forms and show the birth certificate and proof of residency.
