An Important Message from our Salem Nurses👩⚕️
One of the questions many parents have is when, and when not, to send their child to school. Below are some general guidelines for you to follow to help make that decision, as well as a link to a printable detailed PDF.
Temperature - If your child's temperature is 100.00 degrees or above, please do not send him/her to school. They may return to school after they have been without a fever for 24 hours (without the aid of a fever reducing medication).
Vomiting - If your child has vomited within a 24 hour period before the bus would pick him/her up for school, please do not send them to school.
Diarrhea - If your child has 3 or more loose stools within the previous 24-hour period please do not send him her to school.
Respiratory Illness or Cough - If your child has a persistent cough please do not send him/her to school. You should also contact your child's doctor.
Strep Throat - If your child has Strep Throat he/she may return to school after taking their medication for a 24-hour period.
Thank you all for your efforts in keeping our Falcon Students and Staff healthy this year!

Weston chose George the beanie baby. Each week students have the chance to be the top place finisher by completing the most lessons in Dreambox. Way to go Weston, keep up the great work!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the PTO Breakfast and Vendor Fair here at Salem! We hope to see many of our Falcon Families and Salem community members there!

In Mrs. Bruni's 2nd grade classroom, each child has a chance to be a Star Student! When a student is chosen as a Star Student their classmates "catch them" doing something kind or nice or safe and write it down on a sticky note. Mrs. Bruni then takes these sticky notes and makes them into a poster for the Star Student to keep to remind them how awesome they are!! ❤️
