The Salem Student Senate is now collecting socks🧦 (new or in good condition) until Tuesday, October 25th!
Socks can be sent to school with your student, and will be kept in their homeroom until the 25th, when they will be collected and donated to local shelters! Any donations would be greatly appreciated❤️

On Thursday, October 13th, we invite our entire Salem community to participate in our Strategic Planning Community Engagement Event from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Salem School. You do not need to have a student currently attending Salem to attend this event, but you must be a resident of the Salem School District, a Staff Member at Salem, or have a child who is open-enrolled at Salem. At this event we will dig into issues that impact not only our current and future students, staff, and families, but our entire community in order to help us further our Strategic Planning Process.
There is strong evidence that property value improves when the “health” of the local public school improves. This opportunity is not only an investment in our children’s future but your pocketbook, so please invite your neighbors to come out to Salem on the 13th to engage in the great conversation!
A Subway Dinner will be available beginning at 5:00pm prior to the event. If you are interested in attending, please make sure to RSVP below by Monday, October 10th at 10am.

Salem School is now hiring for a Part-Time Maintenance Position!
We are looking for a responsible person to assist in the cleaning and maintenance of our facility and grounds. The position is M-F, 10am to 3pm, during the school year with the schedule becoming more flexible during the summer months. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodial role focused on building upkeep, have experience working with children, and have the physical endurance to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Any trades experience is a plus and retired trades persons are encouraged to apply.
