Last week, students worked with Mrs. Ambrose to learn about emotions—how they can have different intensities and how we can feel more than one at a time. Using plates, they labeled 6 emotions and placed pebbles to show how much of each feeling they’ve been experiencing lately. Then, they turned it into a game of hopscotch! If a pebble landed near a plate, they shared a time they felt that emotion before hopping to grab their pebble. Such a fun and creative way to explore emotions! 💙 #SalemSchoolFalcons

Each month during homeroom, students in Grades 6-8 engage in activities and class discussions to explore their future career interests. These interactive, student-driven activities, primarily accessed through the online platform Xello, guide students in exploring their interests. They include career exploration tools and self-assessments designed to help students identify their strengths, passions, and future goals.These activities encourage students to take ownership of their futures, making informed decisions about high school, college, and careers.
