🍪Students in 4K created their own pan of cookies and practiced a breathing exercise called cookie breathing with Mrs. Carney. They thought about their favorite type of cookie and took a deep breath in while smelling it. 😍 They pretended the cookies were still too hot to eat, so they had to blow on them to cool them off! The students did a great job with this activity!

On Tuesday, April 1, our community will vote on a proposed operational referendum for the Salem School District. This would allow us to maintain programs and class size ranges, while ensuring the financial sustainability of our district over the next several years. While we’re proud of our successes, the Salem School District is facing the challenges of rising costs, an inequitable state school funding formula, and a lack of state aid to public schools in recent years.
