Ms. Buchanan's 2nd graders worked on making 1,000 with chain links! They started by making groups of 10, then 100. Then they put their 100's together to get to 1,000! The class was so surprised by how long the chain was! It went outside of the cafeteria and down the hallway past the District Office!
Mrs. Infusino's 6th grade students created their own Yin and Yang flags during their studies of Ancient China!

Ms. Zwiefka's students got to play “Fish & Say” today! Each fish that the students "caught" had a photo on it that contained their target sound. The student had to say the word with their target sound in it, and if they said their sound correctly, they got to keep the fish! The player with the most fish at the end of the game won! 🐟 🐠
We LOVE to see the great things our Falcons are doing outside of school! To help you share those moments with us, we are excited to launch a new way to submit your photos/video to us here at Salem (athletics, clubs, scouts, volunteering, etc.)!
Please use this form to submit your content for review: https://forms.gle/5YhQ9awF2X2GYs7n8

The Lollipop Sale will now run February 28th and March 1st due to our ice and snow days this week! 🍭
NO SCHOOL DUE TO Current ICE Conditions Thursday, February 23, 2023
The Kenosha County District Administrators and Dousman Bus Company have been closely monitoring the weather associated with our most recent storm.
The continuing freezing drizzle and sleet through the early morning hours as well as the significant amount of ice on/around building and travel areas will take us a significant amount of time to clear safely. Furthermore, Salem School District does not have power.
Again, Salem School school is closed due to ICE on Thursday, February 23.
Sincerely,
Dr. Vicki King

Sixth graders in ELA worked hard reading a variety of books and used the information they learned to write their own informational books on Geology!
