Today, the Kiwanis Club of Westosha-Salem presented Salem student Archer Krupo with his very own iPad to use for communication, along with a gift card to enable his teachers to purchase the App they will be using with him. Archer's teachers submitted a grant on his behalf and the Kiwanis chose Archer to be the recipient! We are so grateful for this incredible community support for our Salem students and staff!

Meet Josh Engberg, a Salem School alumni!✈️ When Josh went on to Central High School after Salem, he was an active participant in their STEM Aviation Program. This incredible, growing program has produced 18 pilots so far, many of which are Salem graduates like Josh! "I graduated Liberty University in Dec of 2021 and have been working as a flight instructor at Liberty for 2.5 years. I am now teaching the Certified Flight Instructor course as well as coaching the school’s flight team (NIFA - National Intercollegiate Flying Association). I hope to start working for a regional airline in the next 6 months. " - Josh Engberg This program at Central is supported by the Eagle’s Nest Projects Wisconsin (ENP WI) foundation. ENP WI is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides the financial backing to run the Central High School STEM Aviation Program. Eagle's Nest Project Wisconsin is running a sweepstakes to raise money for our next airplane, student scholarships, and future hanger. This effort is a massive undertaking and will shape the future of their program! Support this raffle for the future of our Falcon students! On Friday Room 106 had a reward day! Ms. Simmons said, "As a class, if we ALL show our expectations during a situation, we can earn a Purple Panda Cash. When we earn 20, we have a reward day. We chose the reward day as a group at the beginning of the reward term. This time we chose pajama day, combined with our holiday celebration. We watched a video and had some tasty treats!"

Every year in Mrs. McGrath's 4th grade class around the holidays, each student creates an acrostic poem for another student in class with kind adjectives to describe them! The best part is they keep it a secret! They had their big reveal on Wednesday, and it was so fun!😍
