Over the last few weeks 5K students in Mrs. Culotta’s class observed the transformation of caterpillars🐛 to butterflies.🦋They watched the caterpillars eat and grow, form a chrysalis and hatch into beautiful butterflies. This week they set them free and a few lucky kiddos had some land on them!

Last week Briana Knuuti, and other area school nurses, went to the Capitol and had a meeting with staff from Senator Van Wanggaard and Representative Nedweski to discuss how schools should be receiving the full amount for Medicaid billing reimbursement. (see photo below)

Students in Mrs. Velleux’s class kicked off a new unit in math by playing a math game called Race to the Cookie Jar.🍪 Students practiced adding and subtracting 10s from 3-digit numbers in hopes of reaching the cookie jar before their partner!
