Please help us congratulate Ms. Sue Gigliotti on her retirement at the end of this school year! Sue has been working at Salem School for about 27 years, and prior to that worked in the lunch program in Germantown School District. When her children were little she began by volunteering here at Salem, and then eventually subbed in the library before she was offered a job. During retirement she is looking very forward to spending more time with her family (7 grandchildren, her 3 children, and her mom and siblings) and enjoying the birds and nature, reading, and trying new recipes! She will truly miss her co-workers and working with and helping students! Share a memory, how Ms. Gigliotti inspired you, or give her your best wishes below! ❤️ #salemschoolfalcons #retirement #wewillmissyou #bestwishes #falconproud #thankyouforyourdedication

Please help us congratulate Mrs. Ann Hughes on her retirement at the end of this school year! Ann has been a licensed teacher since 2011, and has been teaching at Salem full time since 2015. She is going to greatly miss the Salem staff and being part of the "light-bulb" moments that her students experience! When she retires she is looking most forward to having the flexibility to spend time with her whole family! She would like to thank Salem School (administration, staff, parents, and students) for the many opportunities she has had here. It is all of these special opportunities that she was given that led to her becoming a teacher in the first place. She wants to send a special thank you to Mrs. Stanek for allowing her the many opportunities (every Friday for many, many years) to volunteer in her classroom, as well as a thank you to Mrs. Luengen for allowing her to student teach under her guidance, and her 7th grade team for always being there for her (on great days and not-so-great days). She says, "You are all such a special group of people doing the hardest job on this planet. Keep up the fantastic work. Thank You!!!"
